A Concorde simulator is the only way you will get to experience the fantastic aircraft now. Exactly four decades after the first British Concorde made its maiden flight from Filton near Bristol to Fairford in Gloucestershire, the Brooklands Museum in Weybridge has launched an amazingly realistic simulator. The simulator is one of just two in the world which was used to train pilots in 1975. It has undergone a three year restoration project and opens to the public in May 2009. It seats up to eight visitors and you are taken on a flight over New York and experience the sensation of taking off, accelerating to twice the speed of sound and landing.
