The Cross at Kingussie is offering free tea and cakes for visitors who arrive by train. For active outdoor people there’s plenty to do and see without the need for a car around Kingussie in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. Visitors can depart London at lunch-time and be at The Cross in time for dinner or hop on the sleeper in London and enjoy breakfast at The Cross the following morning. Visitors arriving by train will qualify for complimentary afternoon lounge service (hot beverages and home baking) during their stay at The Cross and to help plan walks they’ll also receive a free guide to local trails.
There’s no such thing as a free lunch… but what about tea and cake?
