Picture of the day: Bishop’s Palace, Wells

 

Today’s picture of the day is of Bishop’s Palace in Wells, Somerset. Lying within a picturesque moat and walled gardens, the construction of this palace originates from the Middle Ages. Today the Bishop of Bath still lives in one wing but the main palace is open to the public.
