Unwind at Broadgate House

Why not escape to the stunning British countryside this summer and enjoy all that the splendid Broadgate House B&B has to offer.  It was built in 1891 and is a traditional Georgian house set in 550 acres of picturesque farmland in the Lake District National Park.  It enjoys wonderful views of the Duddon Estuary and offers a warm and friendly welcome.  The reception rooms are tastefully decorated and offer welcoming fireplaces and wood burning stoves.  The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and each one is unique.  The antique furniture, gorgeous fabrics and period wall coverings make it relaxing and sumptuous.  Relax in the pretty garden and enjoy a game of croquet on the lawn.  Broadgate House really is a gem and Lady Diana Lewthwaite of Broadgate House comments, “Broadgate House makes the perfect base for touring the Western Lake District by foot, bicycle or car and gives visitors the opportunity to take in the pleasures of this beautiful area without the crowds.”
