WWII Weekend at Dover Castle

Join Dover Castle in their WWII Weekend (23rd to 25th May 2009) to mark the 65th anniversary of D-Day. Experience the living history encampments and find out what life was really like from English, German and French soldiers. Throughout the day watch skirmishes, practice your drill with Sergeant de Forges, and take instruction from a WWII nurse to learn how to dress a wound.  Booking this event is recommended – call English Heritage on 0870 333 1183 for details.
