Picture of the day: Clifton College, Bristol

Today’s picture of the day is of Clifton College in Bristol.  It opened in 1862 and was built by architect Charles Hanson who based the design on the Tudor buildings at Eton and Winchester Colleges.  Clifton rapidly became one of England’s leading public schools.  Today it is home to the open air classical music event, Prom on The Close.
