A bird in the hand is even better value this Summer

Filed under Accommodation, Eating & Drinking

Discounts of around 40% are available this summer on weekend rates at The Bird In Hand, a pretty 14th Century country inn located between Maidenhead and Reading in the Royal County of Berkshire.

With a history spanning 600 years and character features including oak panelling in the bar and a real Inglenook fireplace, The Bird In Hand combines the old world charm of a traditional English pub, with all the comforts of newly refurbished hotel accommodation.

On offer is a special summer weekend rate until the end of August 2009, of £40 per night for a single room and £50 per night for a double room, based on two sharing. Prices include breakfast and VAT.
