From lectures on sunken Tudor ships to riverside tours, Iron Age storytelling to paper boat making – the river runs through activities for all ages. Enjoy weekday gallery tours and talks and a whole host of family activities on the weekend of 1st and 2nd August 2009. Handle some of the intriguing objects found in the Thames and find out just how they are preserved. You can make your own boats and Roman-style lamps and learn about the skeletons of people that lived and worked by the river.
