Thankfully, most people are law-abiding citizens and have respect for the environment in which they live. Of course, there are always some exceptions and it’s interesting to note that one community in Leicestershire is using YouTube to combat ‘litter louts’. St. Peters Highfields Neighbourhood Monitoring have taken matters into their own hands and set up their own YouTube channel to display video footage of litter offences on their patch. The number of clear instances of littering that they’ve recorded highlights the problem they are tackling. Here’s one such video:
