Today’s picture of the day is of Dovestone Reservoir in Manchester. It provides a great place to visit for the whole family with a 2.5 mile pushchair and wheelchair friendly path around the area. It is situated in the beautiful Peak District National Park, surrounded by fascinating wildlife. There is a sailing club on site and plenty of excellent cycling available. In 1999 A ‘Life for a Life’ Memorial Forest was established and adds to the beauty of the surrounding area.
