Today’s picture of the day is of Loch Logan located in Glen Spean, inbetween Kingussie and Fort William. It is a dammed Highland loch and boasts the largest fresh water beach in the country. It is famed for being a film location for the popular TV series Monarch of the Glen and Queen Victoria spent her first Highland holiday here in 1847 but did not stay long due to the midges!
