Picture of the day: Ord Beach, Isle of Skye

Today’s picture of the day is of Ord Beach in the picturesque and tranquil town of Ord, Isle of Skye.  The beach is situated in a beautiful cove where seals find shelter.  It offers stunning sunsets and the ancient ruins of St Comgan’s Chapel, dating back to A.D 700,  lie close by.
