As part of ‘Homecoming Scotland‘, the Tattoo will be coming to Linlithgow on August 13th, 2009 for the ‘Taste of the Tattoo’ event. The Tattoo will pay tribute to the 250th anniversary of the birth of the country’s famous bard, Robert Burns, and will showcase more than 500-performers, including participants from several countries, such as Canada, Australia, Tonga, Europe and the United Kingdom.
The line up will feature everything from Highland Dancers (including a few from Down Under!), military bands, Switzerland’s Top Secret Drum Corps, Massed Military Bands, a Tongan cultural troupe, and the inimitable Massed Pipes and Drums.
Taste of the Tattoo will also be visiting Glasgow on August 11th.
