Bernard Alessi, the inspiration behind Simple Simon’s has been presented with a Two star Gold Great Taste Award for his salmon pie with broccoli, horseradish and pink peppercorns as well as a One Star Gold Great Taste Award for his delicious lamb with crab apple and mint jelly pie. These pies join the Gold star great taste award winner from 2008 butterbean and brie pie which has been very popular with customers this year as an innovative vegetarian alternative or a cheese lovers treat!
