Ten railway stations in England are to receive funding to the tune of £50m in order to improve facilities such as car parking, CCTV and shops. The news comes on the back of Network Rail’s announcement to spend £3.25bn improving more than 2,000 stations across England and Wales by 2014.  The following 10 stations have been identified as in need of more urgent work:

Manchester Victoria
Clapham Junction
Crewe
