Flooding in Kendal, Cumbria

Kendal floodAs many of you know, UKseries.com HQ lies in the auld grey town of Kendal. And, if you didn’t know where that was… you probably do by now if you’ve been watching the news at all. It’s a wonderful town on the edge of the Lake District in South Cumbria and we’ve been getting more than our fair share of rain lately. There was significant flooding yesterday as the River Kent burst its banks. Today, although we’ve had some rain, has seen the river level fall a little but we have a very interesting 24 hours ahead as the Met Office is a predicting a clear night followed by heavy rain throughout Saturday and heavy showers on Sunday.  Wish us luck!!!
