On the day you can choose your tiny tree, generally an oak, ash or birch, and with the help of foresters from The National Forest, plant the ‘whip’ as part of a growing National Forest woodland. If you prefer not to attend, the tree can be planted for you. The woodland will always be there for you to visit, and you’ll be able to see the trees grow and the woodland and wildlife change with the seasons.
