UK has more Michelin stars than ever before

In the Michelin Guide 2010, some 140 restaurants have been awarded at least one Michelin star, an accolade reserved for only the best dining experiences.  This is the highest number since the Michelin star system was conceived some 35 years ago.  Four restaurants in the UK now hold three Michelin stars, with Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester being the latest to join the elite.
