Hastings will be awash with sea-dogs on 6th August 2010 for Pirate Day, as the East Sussex town attempts to set a world record for the largest gathering of pirates in one place. Taking place at 1pm on the beach, the Guinness World Record attempt is just part of the day, which also includes a pirate procession, Treasure Hunt, Punch & Judy shows, Pirates of the Caribbean look-a-likes and live music. The free event is part of Hastings Old Town Carnival Week.
