The full story of the Olympics from ancient Greece right through to the modern games will be presented for the first time in London during the Olympic games it has been announced.
“The Olympic Journey: The Story of the Games” will be held at the Royal Opera House during the London Olympics, which amongst other exhibits will feature medals from every Olympic Games since 1896 and all the Olympic torches used since 1936.
For the first time, exhibits along with graphics, film and audio from the official world Olympic Museum in Lausanne will be on display.
This exhibition will be part of the London 2012 Festival and will run from July 27th to August 12th 2012.
