Autumn events in Northumberland

If you’re planning to visit Northumberland in the next few months there’ll be lots of events for you to enjoy:

Try a guided Halloween ride along the Lakeside Way at Kielder Water & Forest Park with Purple Mountain.  There’ll be scary tales, pumpkin soup and Halloween muffins.

The Northumberland Music Festival presents a glorious gala concert under the direction of Robin Newton – music director for world-famous Garsington Opera.

Take a journey into the horrors of medieval disease, terrifying surgery and ghastly punishments from days gone by at ‘Time Travellers Go Gruesome’ at Belsay Hall & Gardens.

Participate in the Kielder 10k – new for the Kielder Marathon weekend of events.

Sing along at the Hexham Abbey Festival – the North East’s premier music and arts festival.
