Day 6 of the Olympic Torch relay – Gloucester to Worcester

 

Today is day 6 of 70 for the London 2012 Olympic torch relay and will see the torch travel from Gloucester at 8.15am (a somewhat later start than previous days) to Worcester at 6.36pm, passing through Maisemore, Hartpury, Corse and Staunton, Ledbury, Bartestree, Lugwardine, Hereford, Leominster, Ludlow, Clee Hill, Cleobury Mortimer, Far Forest, Callow Hill, Bewdley, Kidderminster, Droitwich Spa and Fernhill Heath along the way.

After leaving Gloucester, perhaps best known for its cathedral and long history in aerospace, it will head for Hereford, known for giving its name to a famous breed of cattle. The journey from Bewdley to Kidderminster will be on the Severn Valley Railway.
