Head for Bath and bathe like a Roman!

This summer, The OHH Company, a collection of boutique bolt holes in Wiltshire, has partnered with the UK’s only natural thermal spa, The Thermae Bath day spa in the heart of the historic city of Bath, to offer guests a rejuvenating spa break.

If you are feeling the stresses and strains of daily life, in need of some relaxation and pampering or simply looking to treat your loved one and escape to the countryside then The OHH Company has just the solution. Whether you choose the ‘Spa Nights’ one-night package or the indulgent two-night spa session you are guaranteed to come away feeling refreshed and energized.

The open-air baths are supplied with thermal water from three of the cities hot springs and it is believed this water fell as rain around 10,000 years ago and then sank to a depth of around 2km, where the thermal process began. Discovered in 863BC, the waters have been enjoyed by the Celts, Romans, Saxons and Georgians over the years for their therapeutic purposes.

Rich in over 42 different minerals, the most concentrated being sulphate, calcium and chloride, the waters have been proven to sooth pain, stiffness and arthritis. As well as opening the pores and improving blood circulation, which in turn boosts the health of body tissues and carrying oxygen and nourishment to the cells, resulting in a glowing, healthy appearance. To enhance your therapeutic experience and to rid toxins from the body, enjoy the Aroma steam rooms, which are infused with essential oils including eucalyptus and frankincense.

The OHH Collection is a family run, boutique collection of hotels in two of the UK’s most stunning locations. Located just 4 miles from the cobbled streets of Bath where The Northey is located, to England’s ‘Prettiest Village’, Castle Coombe, where The Old House at Home is situated. Renowned for their exceptional interior design standards, unrivalled attention to detail and excellent service, both hotels provide the ideal base from which to relax, unwind, indulge in home cooked food in intimate surroundings and explore the local area.

The 2 night spa package starts from £380 based on two sharing a double room, inclusive of breakfast and dinner as well as a 2 hour spa voucher for two and a bottle of wine in the room on arrival.

Alternatively guests can opt for the ‘Spa Nights’ package whereby book a night at The Northey or The Old House at Home and pay an extra £26 each for a 2 hour spa voucher.
