Opening today: Weymouth Sea Life Tower

The sleekly designed £3.5 million Weymouth SEA LIFE Tower is a dramatic addition to the Weymouth landscape and treats guests to a breathtaking panoramic vista taking in the UK’s only natural world heritage site – the spectacular Jurassic Coast – and the picture postcard beauty of the Dorset countryside.

The observation deck rises from ground level to full height as it slowly revolves to give full 360 degree views, before gradually descending again. The doughnut shaped observation deck has floor to ceiling 2m high windows for maximum visibility and on a clear day, at the highest point, views extend far into the English Channel and right down the coast to the famous Lulworth Cove and the iconic Durdle Door arch.

Also on view are the sailing hot spots of Weymouth and Portland Bays which will host the 2012 Olympic sailing events and guests lucky enough to get flights on race days will get a prime vantage spot.

Tickets are priced at £8.10 with an early bird online offer currently available providing a 20% discount orthere are amazing value joint tickets with SEA LIFE Adventure Park starting at just £72 for a family of four offering a 10% saving on the regular walk up price. The attraction is open seven days a week from 10am with last entry at 7:15pm.
