Today’s picture of the day is of Blackpool Grand Theatre in Lancashire and is one of the most historical buildings in the North West. It is open all year and offers drama, opera, dance, comedy, musicals, variety and pantomime. Visitors can also enjoy an interesting guided tour.

Today’s picture of the day is of Hunstanton Beach in Norfolk. It is nicknamed “Sunny Hill” because of the stunning sunsets that can be seen here. Visitors can enjoy an array of attractions which include donkey rides, amusements, sports, crazy golf and a funfair.

Today’s picture of the day is of Hugh Miller’s Cottage in Scotland. Hugh Miller was born here in 1802 and becam a stonemason, eminent geologist, editor and writer. It is a picturesque thatched cottage built in 1698 by Miller’s grandfather and is surrounded by pretty gardens.

Today’s picture of the day is of The Plantation Garden in the heart of Norwich. It consists of a 140 year old chalk quarry with a large gothisc fountain in the centre. It is considered a hidden gem and is located between Crofters Hotel and Beeches Hotel just 600 yards from the city centre.

Today’s picture of the day is of The Lost Village of Dode in Kent. It is a picturesque hamlet that was almost completely wiped out by the plague in the 14th Century. Only one original building remains which is Dode Church dating back to the Norman Era.

It features the larges indoor ventur centre in the UK and 60 acres of land outside with 3 watercoasters, 500 metres toboggan run and a total of 15 playzones. There is also a Falconry Centre offering many animals and birds making it a fun and interesting day out for the whole family.
