Today’s picture of the day is of Kilchurn Castle near Dalmally in Argyll. This interesting castle lies at the north-east end of Loch Awe and was built by Sir Colin Campbell of Glenorchy in about 1550. Although now in ruins, you can still get a feel for some of the internal parts of the castle.
