New route from AirSouthwest linking the West Country to London

Air Southwest has set out ambitious plans for a direct link between the West Country and the heart of London. The regional airline is to offer a twice-daily service from Newquay and Plymouth to  London’s City Airport.  It will enable business passengers to arrive within just 3 miles of Canary Wharf in around 1½ hours flying time.  The flights start next month, on 20th April 2009, with prices starting from a promotional offer of £29 each way, including taxes, charges and baggage.
