Picture of the day: Jacobite Steam Train

Today’s picture of the day is of the Jacobite steam train that runs from Fort William to Mallaig in Scotland.  The train stops at the village of Glenfinnan where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised his standard in 1745. More recently, the train is well known for appearing in the much-loved Harry Potter films.

Is that near Dunkeld ? I named my second daughter Skye, and the first Mhairi. Daughter Leith –first marriage – had her wedding at Dunkeld on a foggy March day like this.

Tourism is about moments that last.

    Great pic thanks
