Spring is upon us and it sees the opening of theme parks all over the UK with new thrilling rides and exciting attractions. Each year taller, faster, longer and more technological rollercoaster’s are launched and The Times has explored all corners of the globe to find the ten most scariest. Here in the UK, the Stealth rollercoaster at Thorpe Park in Surrey made number 7 on the list. Stealth was the fastest rollercoaster in Europe when it opened in 2006 and still retains the crown of fastest acceleration in the continent, reaching 80mph in less than two seconds.
