Atholl Estates has announced the arrival of their latest range of accommodation. A new development of five Scandinavian-style woodland lodges is being created in the historic grounds of Blair Castle, conveniently close to the amenities of Blair Castle Caravan Park whilst remaining nestled in its own tranquil wooded area. Scheduled to open in June 2009, the two and three bedroom lodges offer a wonderful opportunity for couples or families to relax and enjoy the spectacular surroundings. Wildlife lovers will appreciate seeing red squirrels and roe deer at close quarters, as these often elusive creatures live on the doorstep. Keen fishermen can arrange a day on one of our three renowned salmon rivers or 3 hill lochs (in season), whilst Atholl Estates’ seven munros provide a challenge for hillwalkers. Blair Castle Trekking Centre is just a short walk away, offering everyone from beginners to experienced riders the opportunity to explore Atholl Estates from the back of a traditional Highland pony.
