The chefs at the five star Langham Hotel in London have unveiled what they think is the biggest gingerbread house in London just in time for the festive season.
Made entirely from sweets including ginger biscuits, macaroons, sugar mice and icing, the modern day style house was created by the hotel’s pastry chef Cherish Finden and her team. The house is now being carefully guarded by the staff at the hotel to ensure it lasts intact until Christmas.
The gingerbread house will be on display in the hotel until the 31st December 2010, although its fate after that hasn’t been announced.
