New map of 800 London public toilets on your phone

Public conveniences are disappearing rapidly across Britain as council’s think they’re a good way to save money, but it seems there are over 800 in London.

The guy behind the IanVisits London blog has created an interactive map of all [well most] London toilets and it turns out despite their decline, there are still over 800 of them within the M25.

The Toilet Map web site works on a browser or various iPhone / Android and similar smartphones with dedicated apps for iPhone and Andriod phones.

Having this on a phone is probably one of the best ideas going especially as the closest rival we can find is Sit or Squat but that’s a bit limited in the UK, and they insist on calling them “bathrooms”.

We just need this right across the country….anyone know how to write an iPhone app?
