Next month the three day Windsor Festival is coming to town to celebrate its 40th anniversary. It was founded in 1969 by Conductor and Violinist Yehudi Manuhin and Ian Hunter. Already lined up for the event is the Southbank Sinfonia and the Academy of St Martin who will be playing Beethoven at the Picture Gallery at Royal Holloway. St George’s Chapel at The Windsor Castle will be hosting performances of Bach’s Mass in B minor. Children can enjoy an array of activities across the region and there will be talks and book signings galore! It is advisable to book hotels in the Windsor area as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
