This Easter there are an array of holiday ideas in the historic city of Durham including adventure racing, food festivals, free outdoor events, exhibition openings and even a guest appearance by Peter Rabbit! Why not visit Beamish Museum’s newest exhibit; the £1 million Colliery Lamp Cabin which features Beamish’s nationally important collection of safety lamps and safety and rescue equipment. Children will love the Family and Children’s event at Dalton Park on 12th April 2009. Peter Rabbit will be making a guest appearance with his friend Mrs Tiggy Winkle.
