A new 156 room Marriott Hotel has opened at Twickenham Stadium. The new hotel has 12 suites including six with pitch views, a contemporary chop house restaurant, stylish bar and cafe lounge. The opening rates for a standard room start from £125 per night. The hotel is conveniently situated just 6 miles from Heathrow Airport and just 20 minutes from Twickenham railway station. If you’re a big rugby fan then I can see this being a good draw, especially for match weekends. I wonder whether being located next to the stadium will be a help or hindrance on non-match days?
Sounds like a great location, with the airport so close as well.
I would imagine on non-match days, the stadium is used for all manner of corporate events, etc. so the hotel will probably be an ideal choice for attendees to those kinds of events.
