Today’s picture of the day is Rannoch Moor in Glencoe, Scotland. Covering an area of 20 square miles an standing at a height of 1000 feet, the moor is a favourite of film directors and has featured in films such as Monty Python, Holy Grail, Rob Roy and Trainspotting. Rannoch Moor is crossed by a railway line and the A82 but access to the majority of the moor is on foot.
