The best invention in London’s Science Museum?

As part of its centenary celebrations, the Science Museum in London is looking for the public to vote on the best scientific inventions from a list of 10 of its most significant objects.  They have been shortlisted as follows:

Steam engine
V2 rocket engine
Electric telegraph
Stephenson’s Rocket
X-ray machine
Model T Ford
Penicillin
Pilot ACE Computer
DNA double helix
Apollo 10 capsule

So, if you were to choose, which of these would get your vote and why?
