Christmas at The Dorchester

Filed under Accommodation, Eating & Drinking

The Dorchester is to offer a traditional British Christmas this year in sumptuous surroundings and with unparalleled service. Situated in the heart of Mayfair, the hotel is near to the best of London’s Christmas attractions such as Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland and Sing-along Carols at The Royal Albert Hall.

And their very own festive programme includes a dedicated Christmas Concierge (on hand to assist with all family festive arrangements such as priority tickets for the Harrods’ Christmas Grotto), complimentary children’s room, special spa treatments and afternoon tea with mince pies and carols.  Among the spa treatments will be The Christmas Collection, a luxurious afternoon of pampering including a Footloose massage, an Aroma Manicure and Afternoon Tea in The Spatisserie, the perfect antidote to a frenetic morning’s shopping. Priced at £380 for two people in a double suite, The Christmas Collection is valid from 1-31 December 2009 and is subject to availability.

If that’s beyond your budget, why not just call in for afternoon tea with a Christmas twist in The Promenade? The Festive Afternoon Tea includes a glass of Champagne, a selection of delicious finger sandwiches, festive pastries and mince pies. At the weekend a Christmas Carol Tea will be served where diners can enjoy carols sung by a children’s choir or duo. The Festive Afternoon Tea, priced at £45 per person, and The Christmas Carol Tea, priced at £55 per person, will be served from 21st November 2009 – 4th January 2010.
