Forest Holidays has officially opened its brand new cabin site in the Forest of Dean. The unique setting for Forest Holidays’ newest location is the sixth and largest site to date for the environmentally friendly company, which offers luxury cabin breaks set on Forestry Commission land throughout Britain.
A grand opening event last week saw Dr Bob McIntosh, Director of Forestry Commission Scotland and Chairman of Forest Holidays, together with Peter Amos, BTh (Hons) (Oxon), leader of the Forest of Dean District Council 2010, officially open the new site.
Top interior designer and TV personality Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen attended the official opening. Laurence, who is a Gloucestershire local, joined in with one of the popular guided Ranger activities. He was also delighted to show off the brand new luxury tree house, which has been decorated and accessorised exclusively with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen products.
