A combination of mountain biking around Wales and downing several pints of real ales might not sound like the best combination, but that’s exactly what happens every year around Llanwrtyd Wells in Powys.
The annual Real Ale Wobble takes place in conjunction with the Mid Wales Beer Festival, running over a selection of courses of 15, 25 or 35 miles. En-route there are a number of waypoints serving real ales from the local Heart of Wales Brewery.
So if mountain biking through the spectacular Welsh countryside, and maybe enjoying the odd tipple (and hopefully not topple) appeals, head over to Llanwrtyd Wells on the 13th November 2010 to enter the Real Ale Wobble.
