Victorian Christmas Tours at Muncaster Castle in Cumbria

Take a sneak peak around the historic Muncaster Castle in south Cumbria guided by the house servants dressed in period costume from 1885 alongside themed light shows in the gardens.

The entire castle is lit up in Christmas lighting and elegantly decorated for Christmas. Guests will be taken on a tour of the castle and gardens and hear tall tales over a glass of his Lordship’s mulled wine, along with a mince pie or two, on this half hour tour. After dark, the castle gardens are transformed by a themed sound and light show with music and special effects.

Pre-booking for these tours is essential – see the Muncaster Castle web site and Muncaster Castle Tickets.

Currently available dates are:
Sunday 19th December
Monday 27th December
Tuesday 28th December

Wow! This place is cool that i can test to it. I was there sometime 2009 and i really enjoyed it. Its garden is freshening when you’re touring and the environment is cool. I surely will find time and book a place there later this year.
