We can’t guarantee any of them will have a red nose, but if you want to chat to a reindeer without sneaking downstairs on Christmas Eve then head for the Cairngorm Mountains in Scotland.
The Cairngorm Reindeer Centre has the only permanent reindeer herd in Britain with around 130 animals which range across the Easterrn Highlands of Scotland. The reindeer have a wide grazing area, but the centre offers daily excursions to the hilltop grazing grounds, reindeer treks and paddock visits.
In the current weather they should be feeling very much at home and who knows, maybe if you’re really really nice to them, they might tell you the secret of Ruddolf flying tricks and if he likes to scare Santa with acrobatics…
