Calling all outdoors enthusiasts – for eight days, the Brecon Beacons is home to the Crickhowell Walking Festival consisting of 73 different guided walks, talks and tours with something for everyone.
From the 26th February to the 6th March, the festival celebrates the great outdoors and especially the magnificence of the Brecon Beacons in Mid Wales, with a whole range of expertly guided walks from lowland paths to trekking the Black Mountains.
There are a number of supporting events too including talks, some of which will then be followed by an illustrative walk; courses in map reading and navigation and if you’ve still got any energy – music and dancing.
