According to various reports, the owners of Blackpool Pleasure Beach are looking to install a new Wallace and Gromit themed ride at the park.
Not many details are currently available about the ride, but Nick Park – creator of Wallace and Gromit is quoted on Radio 4 as saying, “It’s not a hair-raising terrifying ride, it’s a family friendly ride”.
With the massive range of inventions created by Wallace and the number of near-scrapes he’s saved from by his faithful dog Gromit, there are a world of possibilities to create a theme park ride around.
The ride should appear on the Blackpool Pleasure Beach in Summer 2012.
