London Mayor Boris Johnson has announced a possible plan to ask some of those who signed up to help with the London Olympics, to also help with the forthcoming Royal Wedding on the 29th April.
The idea hasn’t yet been finalised, but with an expected extra one million visitors in London for the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, there is a likely need for people to assist in various locations with tourist information and help visitors find their way around.
With only 48 days to go, the organisers might need to make a decision quickly on whether they’ll employ the services of at least 1000 of the volunteers, but no doubt things are in hand back at the palace.
