If chocolate’s not your thing but you want to dazzle your senses, then why not go and ogle at a rare, one day only, display of the largest collection of Auriculas in the country? This beautiful plant, once a favourite of miners and weavers, offers an alternative Easter Sunday feast (24th April 2011) and looks and tastes as good as Easter eggs. Organised by specialist plant nursery, Woottens of Wenhaston, who are expecting Auricula fans to travel from far and wide to see these eye-catching plants, the event is open from 9.30am to 5pm.
