Just announced – First Harrods store opening in a London hotel

Harrods has to be the iconic name in shopping around the world, but apart from the main store there have only been about 4 small satellites in London – until this month when one opens in London’s Corinthia Hotel near Trafalgar Square.

Alongside the major Harrods store in Knightsbridge you can also shop at Harrods, albeit with a more limited range, at various Heathrow Airport terminals and until its decommissioning you could even find your duty free’s in a small Harrods shop aboard the QEII.

From the middle of April a new Harrods will be opening in the 5 star Corinthia Hotel, which opens its doors on the 16th April. The store will be situated in the lobby of the hotel and according to Business Traveller UK, the minibar in the hotel rooms will also include Harrods goodies too.

Rooms at the hotel will start from £289 per night.
