The Telegraph web site today is featuring some of the best landscape photos we’ve ever seen from around Britain by acclaimed photographer Ben Hell.
Rather than all being sunsets and waterfalls which seem to be the mainstay of a lot of landscape photographers, mostly because they can use long shutter times, Ben has included a mixture of photos from Dorset to the Highlands of Scotland.
It’s no secret amongst photographers that sunrise and sunset are good times to take atmospheric photos, but for example Heathland at dusk in Dorset takes a slightly different angle on this making the landscape the focus not the sunset.
One of the most intreging is Wistmans Wood in Devon which shows a moss-covered landscape of green trees and wouldn’t look out of place in the fantasy film.
The full set is available on the Telegraph web site under Beautiful photographs of British landscapes.
