The Google UK Travel team has just released its whitepaper for the Summer of 2011. In it they write:
“Our destination analysis over the most recent weeks has shown query increase for domestic destinations. The good weather has made the UK a more desirable vacation alternative.” And later they refer to “a greater likelihood for consumers to focus on domestic holidays”.
