Hidden away on Conwy’s quayside is a little known tourist attraction – Britain’s smallest house. This “one up, one down” property is so tiny yet was nevertheless once owned by a fisherman who was 6 foot tall. Perhaps understandably, he sold the property because the rooms were so small that he couldn’t stand up in them. That said, it does beg the question ‘how did he come to own it in the first place?’.

Wonder how much it was sold for?
You’d think unless this is open as a tourist attraction then painting it bright red might not be such a good idea. Kindof makes it easy to spot.
As for smallest house – well technically perhaps, although the House on the Bridge in Ambleside (Lake District) I think would qualify also even if it’s no longer lived in.
